CLEAR INFORMATION FOR FAMILIES
Support the curiosity.
Understand the boundaries.
A practical guide to the current game, optional purchases and local data.
Learning through play
KAI Academy is designed especially for young people aged 10–13. It introduces clear prompting, context, audience, tone, formats, step-by-step thinking, answer comparison, privacy and human judgement. These activities are opportunities to practise, not a qualification or a promise of educational outcomes.
Progress, Sparks and optional purchases
Players earn XP, Sparks, mastery stars and badges through activities. Room Studio upgrades use earned Sparks and room badges. The app also offers optional Crystal packs and a one-time Premium unlock. Core lessons, care and meaningful progression remain available without a purchase.
Real-money actions use Apple’s purchasing system and the app’s parent or guardian confirmation. Review Screen Time purchase restrictions and, where suitable, Ask to Buy on the device. An in-app confirmation is not a substitute for the device safeguards you choose.
Handcrafted activities, without open player chat
The current game does not provide open chat between players, public profiles or a KAI Academy sign-in. It uses handcrafted learning activities rather than unrestricted live generative AI.
Where progress is stored
The app stores progress and preferences locally on the device. There is no KAI cloud-save account. Device backups may include app data according to the owner’s Apple settings. KSJ Growth cannot retrieve local progress remotely.
Using the website coach
The website coach uses fixed practice choices. It does not ask for a name, age, email address, school, location or photograph. It does not connect to an AI service or save a conversation. Copying a prompt places it on your device clipboard at your request.
For educators
Use a short challenge as a discussion starter: Which instruction is clearer? What would you check? What information should stay private? The website activities need no account. Please check any external AI service’s age and access requirements before using it with learners.
